How we work

Five stages, with your decisions built in.

You shouldn't have to manage the project. We own the technical delivery and bring decisions back to you at clear points along the way.

  1. Stage 01

    Discover

Understand how the work really happens before changing anything.

    • Short, structured conversations with the people doing the work
    • Review of existing systems, data and work already done in-house
    • A map of the current process, handoffs and pain points

Your decision: Confirm the problem, the priorities and what success looks like.

  2. Stage 02

    Design

Agree the shape of the solution and the scope before any build.

    • Which system owns each piece of data, and how systems connect
    • Workflows, screens and reporting agreed with you
    • A defined scope with acceptance criteria

Your decision: Approve the design and scope. Nothing is built on assumption.

  3. Stage 03

    Build

Build in controlled steps, showing working software as it takes shape.

    • Development in a test environment, not on your live systems
    • Data cleaned and aligned before systems are connected
    • Any change to scope agreed in writing before work begins

Your feedback: Working demonstrations at agreed checkpoints.

  4. Stage 04

    Validate

Prove it works with real scenarios and your own data.

    • End-to-end testing against the agreed criteria
    • Totals reconciled between source systems and outputs
    • Structured user acceptance testing with your team

Your decision: Accept against the criteria agreed at design.

  5. Stage 05

    Handover

Release carefully and leave you in control of what was built.

    • Production release and early-life support
    • Documentation, training and administrator notes
    • Access reviewed, and removed where support isn't retained

Your choice: Decide whether ongoing support is useful. It is never assumed.

Working principles

How we look after your systems and your time.

  • Named access, least privilege

Individual accounts with only the permissions the work needs. No shared passwords sent by email.

  • Decisions at defined points

You aren't asked to manage the project. We bring decisions back at the checkpoints above.

  • Fixed scope, visible changes

What is included is written down. Anything new is priced and agreed before it starts.

  • You own the result

Documented configuration, data definitions and handover notes, so the system doesn't depend on us.
